Parris Island Historical and Museum Society will host a Book Signing on March 19th, 2014 from 1-4 pm, featuring Authors Eugene Alvarez, PHD and John C. Stevens III. They will be signing their books; Parris Island, Once a Recruit, Always a Marine, and Court-Martial at Parris Island, The Ribbon Creek Incident.

New York Times best-selling author Cassandra King will make a special appearance on Saturday, January 25 at the Chart House, 2 Hudson Road on Hilton Head Island from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. King will talk about her latest book Moonrise and share her insights about her inspiration, her craft and more.

Books Sandwiched In returns to USCB

The Books Sandwiched In series, sponsored by the Friends of the Beaufort County Library (FOL), will begin in January 2014 and is one of the 'Friends'' most popular projects. Local authors, well-known community leaders, celebrities, educators and world-travelers have appeared as presenters on the Books Sandwiched In stage at this free event.
